Cette photo a été prise dans les années 1940 ou 1950. Elle montre John Elien Muise, de Morris Island, alors qu'il partait en barque pour aller poser ses casiers à homards. Il a été pêcheur toute sa vie. On pense que cette photo a été prise depuis un quai de Surette's Island, près de Tittle, par Mme Adèle Surette. Elle a parfaitement capturé le reflet du bateau et de sa cargaison par une journée calme. La photographie a été développée par le studio Rozee's Photography Studio à Yarmouth et a tellement plu au studio qu'une copie de la photographie a été accrochée dans la vitrine du magasin pendant des années.
In the 1940's or 1950's this snapshot was taken of John Elien Muise of Morris Island as he departed in his skiff to dump his lobster traps. He was a fisherman all his life. The picture is believed to have been taken from a dock on Surette's Island around the Tittle by Mrs. Adele Surette. She captured perfectly the reflection of the boat and its cargo on a calm day. The photograph was developed by Rozee's Photography Studio in Yarmouth and was so well liked by the studio that a copy of the photograph hung in the shop window for years.
